Objective for Collaboration Days:

Last year’s cohort one coaches from Central PA met on a regular basis to collaborate and support each other. Our goals were to build collaboration, share insights, help find solutions to common problems, and build communication between the schools. These goals where accomplished and our meetings where extremely helpful. Many wonderful relationships and activities between the coaches and teachers have grown from these meetings.

Over the summer, we began planning our move to the next level by bringing specific content area teachers from our districts, identified as doing exemplary work, together to show how they are using the CFF tools to change their pedagogy. These teachers showcase/present during our collaboration days so others learn and take ideas back to their schools. It was thought, “Why reinvent the wheel when we can all work together and share our ideas?”
